Who operates Wegetam

Wegetam is a brand operated by Jonadest Creative Technologies Limited. For purposes of this Privacy Policy, references to “Wegetam”, “we”, “us” or “our” mean Jonadest Creative Technologies Limited in connection with the Wegetam platform and related services.

Information we process

Jonadest Creative Technologies Limited, through Wegetam, processes information needed to operate accounts, stores and marketplace transactions, including names, contact details, store and product information, order and delivery details, delivery-evidence photos where submitted, support communications, device or security signals, payment references and audit records. Payment card details are handled by supported payment providers and are not intended to be stored by Wegetam.

Why we use information

Information is used to authenticate users, operate storefronts and marketplace listings, process and reconcile orders and payments, calculate seller payouts and platform fees, provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, moderate content, send necessary service communications, improve reliability and comply with applicable obligations.

Buyers and sellers

A seller receives the buyer information reasonably needed to fulfil an order. Buyers may see seller identity, storefront, product, fulfilment and contact information that is necessary for marketplace commerce. Users must not misuse information received through Wegetam for spam, harassment, credential collection or unrelated purposes.

Service providers

Wegetam may use payment, hosting, authentication, email, media storage, domain, security and monitoring providers. Providers receive information reasonably necessary to perform their service and operate under their own applicable terms and privacy practices.

Vendor identity verification

Sellers may provide legal names, dates of birth, addresses, government-issued identification, proof of address and business registration information for vendor verification. Verification documents are treated as private security records, are not displayed to buyers, and may be reviewed by authorised Platform Admin personnel. Wegetam may perform technical checks such as file validation and duplicate detection. If automatic identity verification is enabled in the future, relevant verification information may be sent to the configured identity-verification provider for that purpose.

Delivery evidence photos

For supported delivery orders, a seller may submit one delivery photo after physical handover when the buyer does not provide the confirmation PIN. Wegetam removes the original image metadata, applies a server-controlled timestamp and order reference, stores the resulting proof privately in encrypted form, and may send a copy to the buyer by email or make it available in the private order view. Sellers are instructed not to photograph identity documents, payment cards or unnecessary sensitive imagery. Delivery evidence may be retained as reasonably necessary for payout, dispute, fraud-prevention and legal records.

Security and retention

Wegetam uses measures such as access controls, rate limits, audit logs, secure transport, encryption of private verification documents and delivery evidence, and step-up verification for sensitive actions. No online system can be guaranteed perfectly secure. Records may be retained as reasonably necessary for commerce, reconciliation, fraud prevention, identity verification, disputes, security, tax or legal requirements.

Marketplace analytics

When a visitor accepts optional measurement cookies, Wegetam may record privacy-conscious marketplace activity such as storefront visits, product views, add-to-cart actions and checkout starts. Anonymous visitor identifiers are hashed before analytics storage and Wegetam does not need to store a raw IP address for these storefront analytics. Operational events such as orders and completed payments may be recorded as part of normal commerce records regardless of optional analytics consent.

Cookies and similar storage

Essential cookies or local storage may be used for sign-in, session protection, cart state, fraud prevention, preferences and security. Optional measurement or marketing technologies, if enabled, should follow the choices described in the Cookie Policy and consent controls.

Your data protection rights and requests

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to request access to personal data Wegetam holds about you, correction of inaccurate or incomplete data, deletion or erasure in appropriate circumstances, restriction of certain processing, objection to certain processing, and portability of eligible data. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal. Where applicable, you may also request appropriate safeguards or human review in relation to decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects. These rights are subject to lawful exceptions, including records Wegetam must retain for transactions, fraud prevention, disputes, security, tax, regulatory or legal obligations.

Requests concerning privacy, access, correction, deletion or other data-protection rights may be sent to legal@wegetam.app. Wegetam may take reasonable steps to verify the requester's identity before acting on a request. If you believe a data-protection concern has not been resolved, you may have the right to lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission or another competent supervisory authority.

Lawful bases for processing

Depending on the activity and applicable law, Wegetam may process personal data because it is necessary to perform a contract or provide requested marketplace services, comply with a legal obligation, pursue legitimate interests such as platform security, fraud prevention and service reliability where those interests are not overridden by applicable rights, or because you have provided consent where consent is the appropriate lawful basis.

Policy updates

Wegetam may update this policy as features, providers or applicable requirements change. Material changes may require renewed consent before affected services are used.

Wegetam Delivery and manual Vendor Delivery

For Wegetam Delivery, necessary pickup and destination contact names, phone numbers, email addresses, addresses and parcel details are shared with the selected logistics provider and courier for quoting, collection, delivery and tracking. For manual Vendor Delivery, necessary fulfilment details are shared with the vendor. Private pickup and notification contacts are not intended as public storefront contacts.

Product readiness and preparation time

Checkout and courier collection forms collect first and last names separately to obtain complete recipient and pickup contact details. Product readiness, preparation estimates and order snapshots are used to determine delivery eligibility and explain fulfilment to buyers.
