Shipping & Delivery Policy
How seller delivery, pickup, location coverage, fees, estimates, confirmation and delivery disputes work on Wegetam.
1. Marketplace fulfilment model
Wegetam is a marketplace operated by Jonadest Creative Technologies Limited. Products are fulfilled by the independent seller identified on the product and order pages, unless Wegetam expressly states otherwise. Sellers are responsible for packaging, dispatch, delivery or pickup readiness, accurate fulfilment settings and customer service for their orders.
2. Delivery and pickup options
A seller may offer delivery, pickup, or both. Available options are shown during checkout for each seller. Pickup instructions, when provided, are recorded with the seller order. A buyer must not select pickup unless they can collect from the seller's stated location and follow the recorded instructions.
3. Service areas
Sellers may serve all supported locations or limit sales and delivery to selected Nigerian states and cities. Checkout validates the destination against each seller's active coverage. If a seller does not serve the entered destination, the buyer must choose an available pickup option, use a supported location, or remove that seller's items from the cart.
4. Delivery fees
Delivery charges are configured by each seller. A seller may use a flat fee, state- or city-specific fees, or a free-delivery threshold. The applicable fee is calculated separately for each seller and displayed before the order is placed. Pickup carries no delivery fee in the current checkout. Product subtotal and delivery fee are recorded separately on each seller order.
5. Delivery estimates
A product page may display the seller's estimated minimum and maximum delivery time after order confirmation. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed arrival time. Timing may be affected by seller processing, destination, carrier availability, weather, public holidays, security restrictions or other circumstances outside reasonable control. Sellers should communicate material delays through Wegetam-supported channels.
6. Multi-seller orders
A marketplace checkout can contain products from more than one seller. Each seller receives a separate seller order, chooses or follows its own supported fulfilment method, charges its own applicable delivery fee, and may deliver at a different time. Confirmation, dispute, refund and payout decisions can therefore be handled separately for each seller portion.
7. Buyer responsibilities
The buyer must provide an accurate recipient name, phone number and complete delivery address, including the correct state, city and useful landmark where requested. The buyer should be available to receive the order or ensure that an authorised recipient is available. Additional costs caused by materially incorrect buyer information may require a new arrangement recorded with the seller; Wegetam does not automatically approve an undisclosed charge.
8. Order status and cancellation
Sellers can progress an order from pending to confirmed, processing, out for delivery and awaiting buyer confirmation. A seller may cancel before the order reaches a non-cancellable fulfilment stage. A paid online order cannot be treated as finally cancelled without the protected refund process. Buyers should raise a cancellation request promptly through the available order or support channel, but cancellation is not guaranteed after processing or dispatch has begun.
9. Delivery confirmation code
For supported orders, Wegetam may issue an order-specific delivery confirmation code. The buyer must share it only after physically receiving or collecting the relevant goods and checking that the handover occurred as expected. The code expires and repeated incorrect attempts can cause a temporary lock. Sellers must not request it early, guess it, coerce the buyer or treat it as a general account credential.
10. Delivery evidence and the 48-hour response window
For a delivery order awaiting confirmation, a seller may submit one genuine delivery photo after physical handover when the buyer does not provide the code. Wegetam removes original image metadata, applies a server-controlled timestamp and order reference, stores the evidence privately, and notifies the buyer. The buyer then has the displayed 48-hour response window to confirm receipt or open a delivery dispute. If no dispute is opened before that deadline, Wegetam may treat the order as delivered and make seller payout eligible, subject to normal payment, verification, refund and security checks.
11. Missing, damaged or incorrect delivery
If an order is not received, arrives materially damaged, is materially different from the listing, or the delivery evidence is inaccurate, the buyer should not provide the confirmation code and should open the supported dispute or contact Wegetam promptly. An open delivery dispute blocks the affected seller payout while authorised platform personnel review the order records and available evidence.
12. Risk, ownership and mandatory rights
Nothing in this policy removes consumer rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Responsibility for a loss or damage is assessed from the order facts, seller obligations, delivery evidence, payment records, applicable seller disclosures and applicable law. Keep all payment and fulfilment communication on Wegetam so the transaction can be reviewed.
